About
Executive coach, founder/operator, and field-tested group facilitator helping founders, executives, and leadership teams navigate the human side of scale.
The Work & The Person
Adam has spent more than two decades studying what happens when groups of people have to navigate uncertainty together.
That throughline runs from experiential education and global leadership programs to entrepreneurship, group facilitation, executive coaching, and organizational work. Different rooms, the same questions about how people build trust, communicate, and move together under pressure.
That is why he can often see what is happening beneath the formal agenda: the avoidance, confusion, unspoken tension, trust gaps, and patterns shaping how a team actually moves.
The Origin
The classroom came first.
Before I knew the language of organizational culture, I was watching it form in real time.
Adam began as an educator in Boston Public Schools and has continued teaching across settings: from cross-cultural leadership programs and founder communities to guest lectures at Tulane University and the University of Arizona. In those environments, group dynamics were immediate and unavoidable. Trust, attention, belonging, conflict, authority, and communication shaped what a group could learn and whether people could move together.
Then the world became the classroom.
Through Global Routes and cross-cultural experiential programs, Adam spent years designing and guiding group experiences across more than 30 countries. In village homestays, wilderness settings, expedition groups, and unfamiliar environments, he watched how people build trust, handle ambiguity, respond to pressure, and become capable together.
Then came the founder/operator years.
Adam built and led purpose-driven ventures, navigated growth, reinvention, merger, transition, and the difficult work of allowing something you created to evolve beyond you.
Formal coaching gave structure to patterns he had been watching for decades.
Executive coaching, emotional intelligence, leadership development, and organizational systems work added language, tools, and precision to a field-tested understanding of how individuals and groups actually behave under pressure.
Why This Background Matters
These are not frameworks Adam read. They are patterns he watched play out in real groups under real pressure.
01
You can see when trust is present, when it is thin, and when people are performing safety instead of feeling it.
02
What does not get named in the room usually shows up later as confusion, resentment, delay, or misalignment.
03
The real culture is not the value statement. It is how people communicate, decide, repair, and follow through when things get hard.
04
The faster a team can tell the truth with care, the faster it can learn, adapt, and move.
Founder & Operator
Adam has built and led multiple purpose-driven ventures, including Global Routes, The Cookbook Project, Adobo Ace, and Ascentric, and helped steward Carpe Diem Education Group through a major merger and transition.
He brings firsthand experience with the realities founders and executives face: growth, reinvention, integration, identity shifts, team complexity, letting go, and the emotional weight of building something that eventually has to evolve beyond you.
That is why his work with leaders is not theoretical. He understands the pressure of holding vision, people, decisions, money, meaning, and momentum at the same time.

How the Work is Grounded
Over time, the experiential grounding was layered with formal training and ongoing practice across several disciplines that continue to shape how Adam works with leaders and teams.
20+ years designing and facilitating experiences in which groups navigate uncertainty, difference, challenge, reflection, trust, conflict, and shared responsibility.
An area of practice woven through Adam’s coaching, facilitation, and speaking work: helping leaders find and use their own story, and carry themselves with clarity and presence under pressure.
Longstanding practice in meditation, mindfulness, and contemplative inquiry, informing work with attention, presence, and how leaders respond under pressure.
